Personality: Duo is a very cheerful and kind person. He loves his friends very much, and hates for them to get hurt. Duo often shows his feelings by screaming at the person he is concerned about.

Past: Duo is a war orphan. His parents died during the war and before he really knew them. He was really little he spent time with a gang, run by a boy named Solo. Solo and Duo became friends. Solo got really sick one day, Duo tried really hard but he couldn’t get the medicine to him in time. Solo told Duo that he would always be with him. Resulting in Duo taking up the name DUO. Then he took the gang to an orphanage run by a priest, and a nun, because with out Solo he thought they couldn’t make it.

The priest’s name was father Maxwell. The Nun’s name was Sister Helen.

They became Duo’s family, because no one adopted him. The nun was the first one to braid Duo’s hair, and they both loved Duo very dearly.

One day, OZ invaded the church.

Duo over heard some people taking about needing more mecha.

Duo said that he would go get it for them if they left the church alone.

When Duo came back the church was burnt to the ground, and Father Maxwell was dead. Duo found sister Helen, and she died in his arms. At that moment Duo started thinking of himself as the god of death.

That also was the moment he took up the last name MAXWELL.

He snuck aboard a ship one day, and met an older man. The older man was Professor G who was building a very large Mecha called a gundam.

Professor G taught Duo many things, including how to pilot the machine.

Then Duo learned of the original operation Meteor. He went to destory the Gundam he had grown so attached to but Professor G stopped him. He told Duo to take the gundam, to go to earth and to fight OZ. He also told him to forget about Operation Meteor.
