ABOUT US

I have had the pleasure of being involved with Rhodesian Ridgebacks since 1985.
At HuntingRidge, we have been highly successful all over Australia at Specialty,
Hound Group level and All breed shows.
Along the way we have titled 2 Grand Champions, 23 champions,
2 with Grand Racing Titles and an Endurance Title.
Our breeding programme has been strengthened by importing
a stud dog from Sweden & frozen semen.
Blending other sound Australian, Scandinavian, USA & South African
lines have proven very successful.

We wanted to provide a brief insight to our history
and involvement with are treasured breeds.
Listing all our dogs great show wins & the first and only
to do whatever is very boring
- most importantly we are proud to produce
sound quality puppies, pleasing to the eye
with excellent temperaments with an empathise on the breed Standard.

HuntingRidge have been honoured and very proud to have exported
over 17 Ridgebacks worldwide to Ridgeback breeders, enthusiasts and families.
(We never use export brokers)
All our puppies are in loving family homes either
lifelong companions or show and breeding prospects.
They have experienced considerable success at
all levels in various countries.
It is very rewarding to have many families returning for another Huntingridge companion.

Currently we are enjoying campaigning our new generation and look forward
to our various judging commitments in Australia and Overseas.

JUDGING RESUME - DIANNA BRENNAN

I am an ANKC licensed Hound Group judge
(Licensed to judge Championship Shows worldwide)
as well as being a Rhodesian Ridgeback Specialist.
I have judged Hounds at many All Breed Championship Shows
throughout New South Wales and Canberra.
including Hound Speciality and breed Specialities.

I was very honoured to be asked to be included in a panel of judges
for the 2005 NSW Hound of the Year final in Sydney.
It was a thrill to be asked to judge Sweepstakes & Property classes
at the NSW Beagle Club Speciality in April 2005.

In 2007 I was invited to judge the Rhodesian Ridgeback Speciality in Sweden.
This was a great thrill and I was delighted with the entry
and the large number of exceptional quality Ridgebacks in Scandinavia.

My other passion is judging Junior Handlers and have had the
pleasure of many appointments in several states in Australia at
All Breed shows, 2 Breed Nationals, Specialty and semi Specialist Groups.
For several years I instructed classes in show handling
& Junior handling. I am also an active qualified Steward.

Over the years I have held various Committee and Executive positions with
All breed Clubs, semi Specialist & breed Clubs.
I have been a member of the various State Rhodesian Ridgeback Breed Clubs.
Along with the various responsibilities, I was on the committee
which introduced the First Ridgeback specialty Championship show
in the Newcastle area in 2003 and helped run
the Championship and Open 2004 shows.
