Potato Gratin


4 - 5Potatoes, peeled, sliced
3 - 4Onions, peeled, sliced
2 TbspButter
4 TbspGarlic, minced
1 TspSalt
1/4 TspPepper
1/4 TspNutmeg
1 TspDried Thyme Leaves
3 TbspParsley, chopped
1/2 CupWhipping Cream
Paprika

1) Saute onions in butter in a large skillet until soft and transparent.
2) In a shallow baking dish, arrange in layers, sliced potatoes and onions, sprinkling with garlic and seasonings in between layers for best flavor.
3) Bake at 350 F for 40 minutes.
4) Add whipping cream all over top. Sprinkle with paprika.
5) Increase temperature to 400 F.
6) Bake for 10 - 20 minutes more until portatoes are soft and pierceable.
