TURTLE BROWNIES   (Unbelievably yummy!)

 

50 caramels, unwrapped

2/3 c evaporated milk, divided

19oz German chocolate cake mix (or Devils’ Food)

¾ c butter, melted

1 c chocolate chips

1 c pecan halves or chopped

 

Preheat oven to 350

Nelt caramels with 1/3 milk

Combine cake mix with butter and 1/3 c milk

Spread ½ mixture into greased 9 x 13” pan

Bake 6-8 min

Remove from oven and sprinkle with choc. Chips and pecans

Drizzle with melted caramels

Cover with remaining cake batter

Bake 15 min

Cool before serving
