Holiday Sprouts
4 slices bacon cut into bite-sized pieces
1 garlic clove, crushed
1/4 c finely chopped red pepper
300-g pkg frozen brussle
sprouts
(I use fresh ones)
salt & pepper
Place bacon, garlic and red pepper in 2-L microwave-safe casserole.
Cover with plastic wrap and micro-wave on high for 1 min.s
Add sprouts (par-boil them if using fresh), and salt & pepper
Cover with plastic wrap and cook on high 5 min. till tender.
Stir 1/2 way
I also add toasted pines nuts just before serving!
