HOT CHEESEY MEXICAN DIP

Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Makes: 5 cups

Ingredients

1 pound    Italian Sausage (500G)

1 lb   processed cheese (Velveeta) cubed

1 jar (16 oz/440ml) salsa

 Method of Preparation:

Remove casings from sausage. In heavy skillet, brown sausage over medium heat, breaking up pieces with a fork.

Drain off all fat.

Add cheese; cook stirring, until melted.

Stir in salsa.

You can really alter the flavor by changing the heat of the sausage and salsa. Keep it warm when serving to a crowd, by keeping it in a crockpot or on a hot plate.

Serve with tortilla chips and sourdough bread cubes.

This dip can also be served over burgers, hotdogs, fries or baked potato.
