Principe, Mozambique, India, Brazil China Japan, Malasia, Indonesia. When, is message of
31st October, 1942 Pope Pius XII, of glorius memory, dedicated the world to the Hearth of Mary,
Queen of Peace, he did not fail to draw attention to the heroic efforts of the Portuguese, a
nation of belivers and missionaries who, with their nautical science and "Christian daring"
opened new oceanic routes as far as the limits of the world, thus taking their place for all time in
