was the first player in UConn men's basketball history to be
named All-American status as only a sophomore. He was a
contender in the nation's top ten pre season Naismith National
Player of the year. He was the first player to pass the 1000
point at UConn as a sophomore. Ray Allen helped lead the US to
the gold medal at the World University Games in 1995. |
