*****ECHO COMES OUT OF RETIREMENT AND WINS BEST BROWN NOSE IN 2004 AT THE RHODESIAN RIDGEBACK CLUB OF WA UNDER JUDGE LINDA COSTA FROM ZIMBABWE AT THE AGE OF 9.2 YEARS OLD - WAY TO GO ECHO OUR LOVELY SWEET BROWN NOSE GIRL EVEN THOUGH SHE IS A BIT MORE GRAY THESE DAYS! WE ARE STILL VERY PROUD OF HER*****
Echo won Overall BEST BROWN NOSE Ridgeback at the RRCWA Championship shows in 1997 and 1999.
Echo also won BEST BROWN NOSE BITCH AT THE RRCWA Championship shows in 1998 and 2000.

When Loki was about 4 months of age an oppportunity came our way to have a brown nose Ridgeback. She was a female aged 18 months, so we went and looked at her and fell in love with her. We decided to bring her home with us there and then and our lives have never been the same since. We became addicted to Ridgebacks. We definately are not the first to become addicted and we certainly will not be the last!!!!
It took Echo one week to settle down into her new home life. I think she was so grateful to us as she had not had a very happy early life that she just wanted to do everything for us.
I started showing Echo, she had no training early in life so it was a bit of a struggle to start with but we got their in the end with patience she started performing well in the show ring. Her best results are winning the brown nose Ridgeback of WA. Whilst she was shown Echo was unbeaten in the category of Best Brown Nose bitch.
Echo is now retired from the showring and living happily ever after on the couch, her favourite place!
Echo is our foundation bitch. She has proved to be a perfect mother and was happiest when she had a litter of pups to look after. Our future hopes now lie with her daughter Londoloza Zoeckhululu (Aphrodite).

Loki is our introduction to the breed of the Rhodesian Ridgeback.
When Peter and I first began looking for a Ridgeback, we had chosen to have a brown nose ridgeback as we loved the look of them. We waited over two years and still one did not come along. Finally, I had a call to say yes we have a brown nose male puppy, sadly he passed away at two weeks of age. We then decided to go and pick another puppy. We chose a black nose male and named him Loki. Certainly a choice we have never regretted.
We actually bought him as our family companion, with absolutely no interest in showing or breeding, did not even consider it at the time. He was the best behaved puppy we have ever owned, never did a thing wrong. well I thought this can’t be real but it was.
Loki was and still is, an adorable dog who loves nothing more than sitting on your lap! He has a beautiful nature and is adored by the many people who have met him. He is a bit of a show off and always likes to shake hands with people when greeting them, but get the camera out an he is a superstar. His favourite trick is jumping on a chair, sitting and holding his paw out for you to shake hands.
We then thought we might try our hand at showing. I had absolutely no idea having never even been to a dog show before, but off we went. I could not believe how nervous I was, it was all so confusing but people there explained to me when I had to go in the ring and slowly I began to enjoy myself. "Loki’s best acheivement in the ring was when he won Best Junior at the RRCof WA championship show in May 1997
