Bailey is my special little man as he stayed with us at LaSimba until he was four months old to ensure that he was placed into a show home. Thankfully, Kel's (Ch LaSimba Look With Pride) owners were falling in love with him from a distance and their visit to Brisbane for the June Specialty cemented their sentiments. Though initially it was extremely hard to part with him, Bailey now lives with half-sister Kel, Spencer, nephew DJ and niece Marni up in Cairns.

Bailey was titled at only seventeen months of age. He is a Class in Show, Multiple Best in Group and Multiple Reserve in Group winner and he has also attained numerous Class in Group and Best of Breed wins. His consistent and fantastic achievements as a baby resulted in him being awarded the Sherry Granville Memorial Trophy for being Baby Puppy of the Year (2002) by the Cairns City Kennel Club Inc.

This show season, Bailey is taking far north Queensland by storm. He is almost half way to his GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP title after only attaining his title mid-2003. He has attained two Best in Groups and four Reserve in Groups in the space of a couple of months.

I am ever so grateful to his owners, Wendy and Rhonda, - breeders of Kelanco Rhodesian Ridgebacks - for campaigning this young man in the showring and loving him to bits at home. Keep watching this space for more updates on Bails!
