How To Make an Angelfire WebPage

1. go to angelfire.com and register for an account.  
   use your state and any name you want for your account.

2. After you are registered, go to build your page.

3. This will take you to your web shell.



X1 this is your account name
X2 this is where your files will be after you upload them
X3 this is where you upload your files
X4 you click here to upload multiple files at one time.

4.  After you have uploaded your files, graphics, background,
    music, name tag, header, etc, you enter the name for
    your page at X5 and end with .html  
    Example: friends.html and then click on Create

5. This will bring you to a new page called create a new page.
   Step 1: place a dot in Basic
   Step 2: place a dot in Standard



   Step 3: place a dot in Styleset #1
   Step 4" Click on submit.



6.  This will bring you to the Basic Editor Standard.
   Step 1: leave alone
   step 2: add your background file here.       example:      starbg.jpg
   Step 3: change to CENTER
   Step 4: leave alone  



   Step 5: Put in the title of your page.  Example: Earth Angel Friends
           Also change the Alignment to CENTER
   Step 6: Put in your file for your header here.  Example: friendsheader.jpg
   Step 7: Change this to 0



   Step 8: Change this to 0
   Step 9: Highlite and delete this text.  Leave box blank



   Step 10: Place your dots for list, links, text block the same as the red dots
   Step 11: Place your dot in YES
   Step 12: Place your dot in YES

7.  Click on SAVE



8.  This will bring you back to your web shell
    In your file box, X1 find your html file and click on it, this will highlite it
    Then click on EDIT, X2.



9.  This will bring you back to Basic Editor Standard page.
    Click on Convert, where the X is.



10.  This will bring you to the convert page, click convert again.  The X



11.  This brings you to the advanced Editor page.  Now before we continue, 
     I will explain what you are seeing before you get confused.  LOL
     1 opening the HTML
     2 Opening the Head of the page
     3 The title of the page
     4 Closing the Head of the page.  Remember everything you open you also
       have to close
     5 Opening the Body of the page
     6 This is where you change the color of your text to match your
       background  
     7 This is the basic size of your font for the page
     8 This is centering your page
     9  This is the title of your page that will appear on your page unless
        you delete it.  I delete it because I use a header which has the
        title on it.
     10 This is the html for your header.
        
 means center the graphic
         


12.  This is where you put in your music.
     
      EMBED=means to put it right into the page, embed it into the page
      hidden=true  means I want the song hidden so that it cannot be
      shut off or stolen
      autostart=true  means the song will start as soon as it is loaded
      loop=true  means that when the song ends it will start over again
      volume=100   means full volume
      SRC="nameofsong.wav or .mid" means the name of the song you are
      putting on the page and whether it is a wav or a midi



13.  This is where you put your graphic
     

     
 means paragraph
     
 means I want the graphic in the center
     


14.  This you put after the graphic for your text.  always put at least 2 
 for a
      space between the graphic and the text.

 center the text
        means make the text BOLD
      
 means put the text on the page exactly as it is written
      fonts.
      LANG="0"> just forget this one but add it to the code



15.  Copy and paste your text here.  In this case it is the lyrics of the song.



16.  This is the html to close the text
     


     always put about 5 paragraphs between the text and the counter XX



17.  Add 5 paragraphs between the counter and your email address.  X

     XX this is where you put your signature tag, just above your email addy.
     Same html as for adding a graphic
     




18.  X Add 5 paragraphs after email addy

     xx Closing the Centering of the page

     xxx Closing the body of the page

     xxxx Closing the html



19.  Go up and click on SAVE to save your work



20.  This will bring you back to your web shell.
     Find your html file in the file box and click on it to highlight  X

     Then click on ViewFile to see your page. XX




You have just made a web page.  Congratulations
