1. If you are asked to ref just do it you'll need someone to ref for you sometime so be nice and people will ref for you.
2. First thing is take all the stats from the fighters and write them down on paper so you know what they are.
3. It's good to compare the stats before the fight begins so you see who hits for more and who can dodge better and last a longer fight.
4. This is what the stats are for: Strength or PL= how much the fighters hit for.
Speed= the ability of the fighter to dodge or counter.
Stamina= how long the figher can last a fight using his moves.
Intelligence= which fighter hits first.
HP= how much damage a fighter can take.
5. Once you take the stats announce that the fight has started and do a countdown from 5 to 1 or 1 to 5.
6. Then tell the fighters whose turn it is and ask them to go. When the fighter does his move you count down from 5 to 1.
7. To determine how much the hit takes off you look at the fighers pl and how many times the opponent dodged during the countdown. These are how you scale the hits:
Fatal: if no dodges were in during the countdown.
Critical: if one or two dodges were typed during the countdown.
IMPORTANT: IF THE PERSON TYPES MORE THAN 6 DODGES THAT COUNT OR TYPES A DODGE BEFORE 1, HIT IS A FATAL!!!!!1
Fair: if three or four dodges were typed during the countdown.
Knicked: if five or six were typed during the countdown. Then you base the damage on what the pl is.
Here's a basic table for damages:
If pl is between 0 and 19,999:
fatal=400
crit(1)=325
crit(2)=300
fair(3)=250
fair(4)=225
knick(5)=150
knick(6)=75
These are base amounts if they have weapons add them to the total or if they have armor subtract it from the total. Of course this will sometimes vary because some moves are more powerful then others.
The Different levels are 0k to 19,999,20k to 40k, 41k to 80k, 81k to 120k, 121k to 160k, 161k to 200k, and 200k + for now. For every level they go up there base hits take off 50 more damage. This is just for their moves so if someone with 200,000pl uses a 81k move and gets a crit with 1 dodge it will take off around 425 damage. He gets the damage for the move not his actual pl.
New Rule: For counters speed comes into consideration. The faster you are the better chance of a direct hit counter attack. If the persons speed is between 100 and 300 it takes away one dodge. if it's between 301 and 600 it takes away two and if it's over 601 it takes away three. Counters still take off 100 less than normal hits.
8. Take the damage and subtract if from the opponents hp.
9. You also must check the fighters stamina. To do this you:
First get the pl of the move (you might want to ask them or if you know it thats ok). Then find out what pl the move is if it is a 50k move it takes off 50 stam or if it's a 200k move it takes off 200 and so on. If they use Kaoken with the move it takes off 15 for the first form and 15 more for each additional one and you can only use that move 4 times in a fight before you become exhausted.
10. There are some moves that can't be blocked like solar flare it's an auto hit. They each get 4 flares per battle and no more. After the flare the opponent is blinded. Then they attacker gets to do another move to a blinded opponent. The opponent can block one time just like dodging. If the opponent has a pl of 10,000 above the other you have to do a countdown if 3 or more blocks are typed in the move is dodged and the turn does nothing.
11. Fighters are also allowed 1 counter attack per battle. To do a counter the fighter must announce a counter plus the counter move during the countdown. First u score the hit then you announce a counter countdown and countdown and score it like a normal hit. counters are a bit weaker then normal attacks since thy are desperation moves.
12. Keep going back and forth until one of the fighters reaches 0 hp or less then the other fighter wins.
13. As a fighter's stamina decreases his hits take off less so he is stronger at first then at the end.
14. Follow these rules and you should be a good ref.
15. Have fun reffing.
16. Kaioken: ok i changed the rules so they'd work for each upgrade of kaioken the pl rises up 10,000 so kaioken times one would make ur pl 10,000 higher and times 5 would make it 50,000 higher.
17. If two things r typed on the same line when blocking or dodging the first one is the only one paid attention to. If they have dodge written 10 times on the same line it only counts as 1. If block and dodge are both written take whatever counts first. If it isn't a move to block because your not blinded then pay no attention to that line.
18.no cut and copying/cut and pasting
19. Saruken must be a countdown it's not an auto hit move. you do a countdown and then you get a hit depending on how many dodges are typed in. So if you do saruken and get a fatal you can pick whatever move u want and get a fatal attack with it.
20. Pi can only be used once and takes off 30 stamina.
REMEMBER THE REFS WORD IS FINAL
if a member get kicked off from the battle they have 10 mins to get back on or DQed
