IN MEMORY OF DADDY CAT

This is a tribute to Daddy Cat, also called The Little Male, a feral cat that I used to feed and take care of. He came around to my house every day, meowing at my back door, looking to be fed and petted. He was very loving and friendly, always wanted to be petted and picked up, always ready to come into my screened-in porch when it rained, always happy to see me, never hurt anyone. Then one morning our next door neighbor found him and another cat brutally murdered. :( How we both cried over his loss. He was barely 2 years old and such a nice cat. I was so saddened at his loss and the way in which he was lost, I decided to place a memorial to him here. He and all the other ferals like him need to be loved and remembered. I feed and care for the ferals and I save as many as I can. But I cannot afford to save them all. This is one I wish I had been able to save. Now he's gone and it's too late and I will forever regret that I didn't keep him with me. I hope that everyone who reads this and sees his picture will remember to love the ferals, help those you can, neuter and spay your own cats, and try to help prevent things like this from happening. There are too many precious babies like this one who are born unwanted. We need to do something for them. Please remember, neuter or spay. Don't let unwanted kittens be born in your neighborhood! Pray for the feral babies everywhere. Thank you.
