Sarita is 14 years old. She is not your typical teenage girl (if there is such a thing!) She likes to play basketball,take karate,and play soccer. She is an avid watcher of "Buffy" and "Dawson's Creek, and like Mulder from the X-Files.....she believes.
On one hand,Sarita is a firm believer in the supernatural,astrology, the paranormal, and in general, all things mystical. On the other, she is a no-nonsense type of girl! She questions everything, and never settles for the standard "because I said so" answer. She is very bright and is currently preparing for the accelerated college prep courses in her first year of high school.
I am very proud of my daughter. Her talents are many...she is an excellent artist. Her stories are entertaining and imaginative. She takes beautiful photographs and is never afraid to try anything new. She is independant and strong willed. Which, while I admire it, has led to many clashes between us!
Garfield is her favorite cartoon and she collects all the comics she can find of him. Sarita and two friends are currently trying to become the newest singing sensation to hit the streets. Their ambition is to work with Five and others someday. I wish them lots of luck! She does have the looks to be famous, she gets bugged all the time by Britney Spears fans who are seeking autographs. I tell her she should say she is, so that she can get the practice and make the day of the kids!
While singing is her present ambition, her main goal in life is to become an actress. She already has her sites set on a college in California that concentrates on the Arts. To help her reach this goal, she will be taking Musical Theatre and Studio Art when she begins high school.
Being a Leo, Sarita has an affinity with felines. She especially likes the big cats, her favorite being the Siberian Tiger.
