SLV Daedalus III Supercarrier

Since the REF is currently occupying coastal territory and an island in the Pacific, they have seen the need to develop naval vessels for defense. So they ressurected the plans for the old Daedalus & Prometheus and upgraded them.
The Daedalus remains the same old mecha supercarrier, with some new enhancements. Like new mecha and a PPB Generator! Much like before this ship is specialized for rescue and infantry landings.

Weapon Systems

1. Forward Torpedoes (4): Long Range Torpedo Launchers.
Primary Purpose: Anti-ship
Range: 20 miles
Mega-Damage: 4d6x10 M.D.
Rate of Fire: Up to 6 torpedoes per launcher can be fired per melee.
Payload: Has a 1,000 onboard torpedo stock pile.

2. Mid-way Medium Torpedoes (10): Medium Range Torpedo Launchers.
Primary Pupose: Anti-ship
Range: 10 miles
Mega-Damage: 3d4x10 (HE) or 2d6x10 (plasma)
Rate of Fire: Up to 6 torpedoes per launcher can be fired per melee.
Payload: Has a 2,000 onboard torpedo stock pile.

3. Mid-way Light Torpedoes (8): Short Range Torpedo Launchers. Primary Purpose: Anti-submersible
Range: 1 mile
Mega-Damage: 1d6x10
Rate of Fire: Up to 10 torpedoes per launcher can be fired per melee.
Payload: Has a 3,000 onboard torpedo stock pile.

4. DS-1 Pinpoint Barrier Defense System: The Daedalus III does not have a full force field to protect it, instead it has 2 Pinpoint Barriers that criss cross the surface of the ship during heavy battles. This is the same system as the Pinpoint Barrier on Robotech starships, but it's smaller (only 75ft in diameter) and has less M.D.C., and the ship has only two of them But still it's a very effective defense system that works both above and below water.
The marvel of the barrier is that it is continually renewed everyth 5 seconds (equal to THREE melee attacks each). This means that damage to its M.D.C. is repaired every four seconds. Thus is one of the barriers took 300 M.D.C. damage, it is restored to it's full 1000 M.D.C. four (4) seconds later. If completely destroyed, the barrier will rematerialize within four seconds.
Primary Purpose: Defense. The pinpoint barrier can not be used as a weapon.
Range: 75ft from the surface of the vessel
Mega-Damage: Inflicts none, but can sustain 1000 mega-damage every four seconds
Rate of Movement (parry/block attacks): Counts as a parry. The trained operators can attempt to parry/block up to eight (8) times per melee, and are +7 to parry. Untrained characters can move the barrier equal to their number of hand to hand attacks (4 attacks = 4 attempts to parry with the PPB); only attribute and HTH bonuses apply.

5. Mecha complement, Aircraft, and Vehicles: Don't forget that the Daedalus III carries a load of destroids, Cyclones, and a small wing of aircraft.

NOTE: The Floor plans and sensors remain identical, see Robotech Book 2: RDF Manual, pg. 16 & 17.
