Phalanx II

The Phalanx II was designed in 2041 as the REF's main anti-mecha destroid.

It has 2 long ranged multi-barrled, phalanx, laser mini-guns based on the anti-missile phalanx mini-gun designed by the U.S.A in the early 1990's. These high powered rapid fire lasers are capable of firing up to 100 rounds per second, per gun. With such a high rate of fire they are able to inflict massive amounts of damage in a small amount of time.

Looking somewhat like a cross between a Gladiator MK-II and an Excalibre MK-VI.

1.Phalanx High Powered Laser Mini-Guns(2): These Huge Mini-guns are capable of all forward firing directions and can pump out 100 projectile rounds per second per gun making it possible to fire 200 rounds in 1 SECOND!!

Mega-Damage:Burst(1 gun) does 1D10 x 10, Burst (both guns) 2D10 x 10. Long burst (1 gun) 2D10 x 10, Long Burst (both guns) 4D10 x 10.

(note: Long bursts can only be fired at warships, stationary objects or any other slow moving objects, MECHA NOT INCLUDED)

2.Side Shrapnel Firing Shoulder Plates(2): These purely defensive weapons are stored in the shoulder plates of the Phalanx II, they fire small shards of shrapnel with batteries on them making them somewhat like CADS. They Fire in a 90 degree angle outwards giving mecha, friend and foe, no time or chance to dodge.

Mega Damage:4D6 to all mecha within 60 ft. Rate of fire: each one fires only once and may be used at any time (note: if the shoulder plate is destroyed it will automatically fire)

Payload: 1 per each shoulder plate *(note: the only roll required is of a 20 sided dice, on the roll of a natural 20 it does double damage, as always, no dodge roll is possible and the parry roll will only reduce damage to the main body by 50%)
