URBAN LEGEND

1998 * Color * 100 Minutes (Approx.)

Rated R

Synopsis:

When New England college student Natalie finds herself at the center of a series of sadistic murders seemingly inspired by urban legends, she resloves to find the truth about Pendleton's own legend-a twenty-five-year-old story of a student massacre at the hands of an abnormal Psych professor. As the fraternities prepare to celebrate the macabre anniversary, Natalie discovers that she is the focus of the crazed killer's intentions in the ultimate urban legend-the story of her own horrific murder.

My Views: Okay storyline, but they could have done a little bit better. And this movie has also been called a clone-of-Scream sort of thing. And I agree but you still have to give them a little credit. Although I think that Natalie is somwhat annoying throughout the whole movie, I think that she turned out fairly well in the end. *G*

My Views On Robert: Very very sadistic Rob! You go! Robert did an excellent job in this movie as the Urban Legend professor! And I just love that cute litte old high school pic of him that they used in the newspaper when Natalie and Paul were looking at it. I can't remember where in the lines of that movie it was, you will just have to watch it to see what I mean. And Robert in those cute little classes and bowtie. He is a TRUE master in this one! *applauds*

My Rating: 5-Like I said, a clone of Scream.

Robert's Rating: 7-He did a very good job, but he wasn't in the movie more than ten minutes.

Overall rating of the film in a whole: Probably a 6.2-Becuase some of the movie is really hard to comprehend and some of the characters are a little bland.

Sountrack

It's an alright soundtrack, but I hope that you woulnd't pay $15 like I did for a CD with only 7 songs on it. :(

My views

Best song on albulm: Tourtured-Annete Ducharme
Worst song: Trying Not To Think About It-Juliana Hatfeild

Not many people well known on this alblum except for the Ohio Player who were like famouse back in the 70's. It could have been a better soundtrack if they would have used some of the songs that were actually played in the movie like "I Need You Now Tonight" And "Zoot Suit Riot" (Which was put in there becuase it was Robert's Favorite song at the time). And they could have did without all the classical background music on that particlular soundtrack. And I'm wondering why they just didn't do what they did with "The Craft" and make one CD with lyric songs and one with the background music in it.
