DEE SNIDER'S STRANGELAND

1998 * Color * 91 Minutes

Rated R

Synopsis:

The glow of the screen illuminates his heavily pierced, tattoo-stained face as his fingers dance nimbly across the keyboard...searching, hunting.

His computer handle is Captain Howdy, and he surfs the local chat rooms for young female prey. Girls like Genevieve and Tiana, who mysteriously vanish after an online conversation with the cunning cyberpredator. Detective Mike Gage has a personal stake in the case; Genevieve is his daughter.

When Tiana's corpse-tourtured, pierced and scarred-is discovered in the river, Gage realizes that time is running out for Genevieve. Taking sadistic delight in Gage's desperation, Captain Howdy sends the detective a series of taunting e-mails, challenging him to a deadly online game of cat and mouse, and drawing him into his "Modern Primitive" world-A strange land of fetish bars, S&M, body modification, and goth-rock.

My Views: Really good storyline, but I think that they could have done a little better in the casting of this movie. Of course, Twisted Sister's Dee Snider rocks on stage, but sucks on film. He made the charatcer Captain Howdy sound gay with some of the stuff that he said. And I mean gay by stupid. Also, Kevin Gage (Mike Gage), wasn't a very good actor, he like had no facial expressions whatsoever and he acted like he didn't give a rats ass about his daughter.

My Views On Robert: Yay Robert! We have to kinda hand it to him that he was willing to get his cute butt out there and dance around in his undy's in a major motion picture, not to mention the famouse part where he got naked ;), But Robert did an exceptional job in the film. He ought to play a drunken naked man more often. lol. But seriously he was great as always he is a great actor and that wasn't the easiest role to play, on the part where he was doing the little dance in his briefs he acted like he was going to crack up. I wonder how many times they had to do that scene?

My Rating: 7-On the count that Robert made the movie worth watching, and the soundtrack to this movie RULES!

Robert's Rating: 10!!!-I have already explained myself.

Overall rating of the film in a whole: OKay, I know I have already given it my rating, but here is the one that I looked up on the IMDb: 5.6
