Imagine 150 or more camping rigs lined up along the beach in Rhode Island. Now, imagine that they are all there for one reason: Camp-O-Rama! And just what *is* a Camp-O-Rama? It's loads of folks having fun, eating, making new friends and reuniting with old friends. It's free Rhode Island style clam chowder on Friday night, the Teen club selling meatball subs (aka grinders) on Saturday afternoon (and manning the popcorn machine Friday & Saturday), and BBQ chicken or ribs (ordered in advance, of course) on Saturday night. It's dancing to a DJ under a huge tent in the parking lot Friday and Saturday nights. It's a positively HUGE Chinese auction, Food & Liquor Basket Raffles, Luck of the Draw Horseshoes, Sand Castle Contests, bus trips to Newport and a late-night pancake house run on a school bus!
