in the middle of december, 1998, i decided it was high time i compile some of my most promising poems and put them into a book of some sort. so, um, i did. here's some examples of the poetry i've included:
(the ones with the ** are linked to at the bottom of the page.)

never gonna make it: we all give up sometime. never lets go. it's so hard to escape.

girl: standing on a rock in the middle of a flowing river, i penned this 10-line poem about me.
watchful eye: stalking is scary... yet we all do it.
night cries: i sat on a rock near the ocean one night. the waves told me this poem.
random: one night i cut out a bunch of words from magazines, taped them all down, and this poem was there.
**dead: why do we dry roses?

**taken: about the moment when i found out about the death of my uncle, from aids.
the moment: a love poem, of sorts.
**miracle: birth and life are miracles. that's what this is about.

that's all for now. if you'd like to read any of these poems, or obtain a copy of my book, please email me.
