Rules

Behavior

Use of profane, foul or explicit language is prohibited.
Do not send chainletters/petitions to members.
Treat everyone with respect. Everyone has different opinions, just be nice about it.
Members must be participating in Olympia as much as in other sim games they are a part of.
Nothing may be made up in Olympia (horses, tack, feed, money etc.) unless specifically stated in these rules.
Ask the author/owner to use horse pictures to represent your sim horses before using them (unless it says they are there for other people to use), and always upload them to your own site, don't link them from the owner's site.

Money

When you join you automatically get a bank account with $500,000 sim dollars.
When money is spent or earned, email Laine the amount.
Payments are made in the form of a check, which must be e-mailed to the recipient.

Registration

Members start with up to 5 created horses. Other horses must be bought, adopted, or a foal from breeding.
All horses must be registered at the Horse Registry.
If a name is already registered, members trying to register that name must change it.
When members buy a horse, the seller must switch the registration(s) to the buyer's name at the Horse Registry. The buyer must keep it at his/her own stable or board at a boarding stable.

Breeding

Mares must be in foal for two weeks before the foal can be born.
Studs can be bred up to 10 times a month.
You must tell me before you breed your horses.

Age

Members may age their horses as old as they want from the time they are born, or that they aquired them, but horses can never be made younger.

Competitions

Shows must be approved by White Wave prior to being held.
Members may request permission to host a competition no more than 3 times a month.

Stable Ownership

Members need to receive permission from the Stable Registry to own a stable.
If a member receives permission to own a stable, he/she must make a webpage for it, and send the URL to Page Approval to be approved.

Business Ownership

To own a business members must apply to Laine
If you receive permission to own a business, make a webpage for it and send the URL to Page Approval.

Other SIM Games

Sim money, associations, stables, businesses, and items cannot be transferred into Olympia from other clubs or be in Olympia and in other sim games.
Horses that are in Olympia can be in other sim games, but in essence will not be the same sim horse, considering that competitions won, breedings made, offspring from other sim games etc. do not count in Olympia horses.
