Shiine

Shiine is the most level-headed and studious one out of the trio. He holds a ring and the power of Hope to make the Holy-up, and he's one of the Paladins of Love, Courage and Hope. Shiine often has to stop Riiya and Cha Cha from jumping head-long into danger. Shiine's magic is a lot better and a lot more reliable than Cha Cha's, probably because he studies and concentrates more than Cha Cha. Maybe because Cha Cha has an extremely attention span. Still, it's not like Shiine's all work and no play. He's really cool, and really funny, especially when he makes fun of Riiya. He studies with the other children at Urara Gakuen and works hard, but even a hard worker like him was dying of boredom in Teacher Gaza's classes in the Royal Castle!

Shiine is well-liked by the whole gang, and he's considered the smartest out of all of them. Marin probably doesn't like Shiine because he thinks she's completely stupid for not figuring out that Riiya can transform into a wolf and because she thinks that he and Cha Cha are hiding Riiya from here. Uh okay fish-chick. Yakko doesn't have much of an opinion, but Riiya and Cha Cha are his best friends. Shiine is mad for Cha Cha, he goes bright red every time he thinks of her. Cha Cha likes Shiine too, but as more of a friend. Shiine's probably jealous of Riiya because Cha Cha always hugs him in his wolf-form, and never gives him any attention. Orin is madly in love with Shiine, but unlike Marin and Yakko doesn't swoon or daydream, instead, she gives this cute little blush. Shiine likes her too, but he never really says it outright, and he likes Cha Cha more anyway. Shiine, unlike Riiya, respects Seravi, even though he does think he's a bit weird from time to time, but he's very close to Dorothy, even though she was pretty mean to him when he was a kid (she locked him out of the castle for wetting his bed)! Still, he works hard to please her, and he even takes control of all of the household chores. Shiine says he likes doing it (which is true) but Seravi says it's because Dorothy can't cook or clean or anything. I think it's a mix of both.

Shiine was raised by Dorothy, but his real father was known as the Silver Knight in the Royal Court, and he served the King. When Daimarou took over the land, Access (Silver Knight) had no choice but obey his new master, bound by the code of the Knight. He gave Shiine to Dorothy, whom he once courted, because he didn't want his son to grow up under evil influence. Shiine's mother was imprisoned in a Spider Prison as an assurance that Access would obey him. Later on, when Daimarou ordered Access to destroy Cha Cha, Shiine fought against his father to stop him from hurting Cha Cha, but he failed. Miserably. He finally consented to Cha Cha using her Princess Medallion and then Holy Up-ed and defeated Daimarou using the Phoenix Sword. Shiine burst into tears, thinking that his father was killed, but Seravi said the Phoenix Sword would never take a life. So Shiine and his reformed father were reunited, and then they rescued his mother, who has no known name except for 'Mother.'

Shiine's father, Access, the Silver/White Knight in his knight gear. Not the kind of guy you'd want to mess with. Access contained the power of the Beauty Selene Arrow within the palm of his hand, and that's no mean trick. But deep-down, he's a good guy, just bound to his principles.

In most of the earlier episodes, the boys would constantly fight, and they'd quite literally have sparks flying... no, Suchi, not in THAT sense... *grin*
