Marin

Marin is a mermaid (you see her two forms in the above picture) but she only transforms when she touches water (seen Splash?). She studies at Urara Gakuen but she's in Section Apple with the older students, and her teacher is Mr Barabaraman, who's kinda weird, to say the least. But we're talking about Marin here.

Marin left the sea when she first saw Riiya, and she hounds him relentlessly (pardon the bad pun). Unfortunately, she hasn't made the connection that Riiya can morph into a wolf. Because of her love of Riiya, she hates Cha Cha. No surprise there. Cha Cha and Marin usually end up beating each other up, and Marin will take her anger out on wolf-Riiya, Cha Cha or Shiine if she can't find her," Darlin' Riiya." Because of that, not many people like her that much. Yakko usually views her with contempt because she says her feelings for Riiya are immature compared for her love for Seravi, or something like that. I think the only person who makes an effort to be nice to Marin is Orin. Marin isn't hated by everyone. George, this really ugly huge green sea creature is madly in love with her. The feeling isn't mutual. Because of that, George's sister hates Marin, and says she is mean, cruel and cold-hearted. Sorry, but I don't blame Marin. He's a sea creature.

Contrary to what everyone else says, Marin has a good heart, just like Yakko, which is why she is one of the 8 Paladins. Although she sometimes hides from battle in her shell, she usually tries her best to fight evil.

I think this picture came from the first episode we saw Marin in, when she saves Riiya from drowning, and because he has amnesia tells him that he's her 'sugar'. Still, I think it's a cool picture.
