My So-Called Life

Welcome to my so-called life! My name is Amanda and I'm from CT. I graduated from Providence College in 2000 where I majored in Elementary/Special Education and Psychology (minor in Western Civ!). I'm currently a special education teacher, grad student, and run a small business on EBAY. I also started another degree as a dietetic technician and fitness specialist.

I love to travel, play sports, exercise and take pictures ( CLICK HERE to see some). My favorite sports are volleyball, softball, and ice-hockey, which I played in high-school or college. That's me on the far right end.

I currently play on a coed softball team with my cousins, husband and brother. Our team isn't the greatest (although we came in first in our division), but we have a lot of fun! That's me (injured in a foot cast)on the bottom, second from the right. My cousin Jess is to my left her husband Don, brother Corey, and husband Marc are the three tall guys in the back middle)!

I used to do a little modeling a few years ago and want to share some pictures from my modeling portfolio.

In the summer of 1998 I visited my friend Markus, in Austria. We also went to Venice, Italy. To see pictures of my trip click HERE.
I also visited Markus again in August 2000 with my friend, Gina (on right). Click HERE to see those pictures or click on the link under my vacation pages.

Scott Young

Here is a recent picture from my friend Heather's bachelorette party. We went on a cruise in Mystic, CT, ate at Go Fish and partied at Mohegan Sun Casino. While we were there I met NHL hockey player (Dallas Stars), Scott Young, who was attending a bachelor party for a hometown friend.

My best friend Gina and me at her wedding in October. Congratulations Gina & Jim! My brother Corey and me (no, we're not twins!). By the way, he is single and available!

In memory of Becky Shaw (left), a college friend of mine who was killed in the Warwick, RI night club fire.
