Austria and Italy 2000

In August 2000, I visited Markus in Austria again. This time I took my friend from high school, Gina, with me. We spent most of our two weeks in various parts of Austria, including Graz, Salzburg, Karnten, and Carinthia. We also spent a few days in Venice and Verona, Italy. Here are some pictures from our trip!

There were cows everywhere in Salzburg! On every street we saw cows of different colors and designs. We had a little girl take this picture of me, Markus, and Gina.

Having our last drink of Sturm before we leave! Sturm is a popular drink in Austria and is only available for a few weeks during August. Definitely one of my favorite drinks!

We spent our first official day climbing the hill to see the Burg Hochosterwitz. Here we are in the courtyard of the castle.

Partying at the pubs! Not a good night for me! Too many "spritzers"!
