Hello,and Welcome to The Roost...I have created this page to try to help some other Parents/People who have or are involved with a child who has a special need...My son is Autistic ..He was diagnosed at age two and a half.He is doing very well now.We are both looking forward to the new school year.This will be his second year at the public preschool.Luckily, we did not have to deal with any regression. He actually adavanced with help from us and mostly due to his will to try to help himself. I also have a son who is speech delayed and who has been in counseling all summer to attempt to get him ready for his first year at preschool.Basically I know alot about kids that can't talk and how to make that change!! My goal is to help people find the information that they are looking for and know that they are not alone. With the links listed below I think that can happen ..You can talk with people that are having a similar experiance and help you get through yours when you need it.
