May - The Last Update
Wow - May already, and with May, comes the realization that this is probably the last update for the Munsons in Japan Web Page. Our household goods get packed out at the middle of the month, and with them, our ability to upload pictures, log on, etc. So we will need to be low tech for about a month and rely on snail mail to communicate. But it has been fun. What's happening this month?
Jeff finished up as choir director at the Protestant Chapel, and will be using the next few Sundays getting around on weekend trips with the family. Kind of our last chance before we all get tied down on Sundays again. Things are winding up at work, and he is really into the mode of getting things set for post-retirement. Lots of paperwork.
Karen also finished up most of her duties at the chapel, and is looking for those last minute bargains and places to go. We've seen a lot, but there is still much more to do. She continues in her career as a "Wedding Singer", but will stop that shortly as well.
The kids are all doing well. Joel and Elin were both inducted into their respective National Honor Societies, and Joel has a series of concerts with all of his bands. He just finished playing with the DoD Far East Honors Band, and still has lots of concerts before the end of the year. Elin is finishing up track in the next week, and looking forward to the move. She is shopping so that she can have a Japanese room when she gets back to the US. Sara is in two different school plays, and just got into a one week program with the Misilou Children's Theater, on tour in Yokosuka. Our calendar stays overwhelmingly full.

I left the pictures of the new place.
Well, too late to come visit us, so we'll have to come see all of you this summer.
Domo Arigato Gozaimas!
Jeff, Karen, Joel, Elin, and Sara
