Aloha! Well, that's how they say it in Hawaii, which is where we spent the last week in February with Tim and Susan Rink. We stayed at the Kauai Marriott Resort, and had a great time! Since we have no news of where we will be moving yet, and you are probably tired of hearing about how great the kids are doing, we thought we would share our trip pictures instead.

We started the week's adventure with a helo ride around the island. Here are Jeff, Karen, Tim and Susan in front of the helo. The view was great.

Here are Susan and Karen admiring the view from the helicopter, and a picture of our hotel from overhead.

Lots of time was spent in the water, either at the beach or at the pool. Here is Elin enjoying a trip in on the boogie board. Joel, Elin, Sara, and Tim also went surfing, but we don't have any pictures of that - just video and that is way beyond my technology.

What would Hawaii be without a few exotic drinks? How quickly they learned to charge it to the room!

One of the highlights of the trip was a whale watching cruise at sunset onboard a catamaran. Here are Tim and Susan, right before we hit the iceberg. No wait - that's the wrong sailing trip.

Joel got a chance to play around on the boat, and here are the girls wondering where the whales were hiding - it was a while before we found any.

And for the record, we did see several humpback whales. Although it seems kind of blurry in the pictures. Hard to get a whale to say "Cheese".

Tim and Sara admire the view at a waterfall - remember the opening shots in Fantasy Island? You could almost hear Da Plane.

We went snorkeling on a couple of ocasions, and found that there were Monk Seals - Susan got to swim with one. We just caught this one napping on the beach.
It was a great trip - so good, in fact, that we are planning on spending 5 more days in Honolulu in June. We may never get back to New England!
