Even though I now live in Maryland, I still retain here the links of R.I &
the many things you can do there.
R.I. Links Page.
Please be sure to check them out! My favorite place in R.I. is Newport,
where you can tour the Newport Mansions, take a walk on the miles of
"Cliff Walk" overlooking the breath taking views of the ocean below!
Taking a ride down "Ocean Drive" is very nice too. Sometimes you may
even get lucky to see a kite show or two with the view of the ocean,
just on the other side of the road. When you are done with site seeing,
you can stroll down to the many little shops that line the docks not
far away from the Newport Bridge. I like to spend alot of my summer days
there. There is something about the ocean that I find is very relaxing
and refreshing, a nice change of scenery from the city. It is becoming
a major tourist attraction a few movies have been filmed there.
My hobbies: I love to build web pages, though there is still alot I have to
learn about it. I also like to write poetry. I have been doing that since I
was a teenager and have written many poems, some which I will be putting up
on my web pages for people to enjoy! I like collecting snow globes. I have
several of them with Christmas scenes.
I also love a big variety of music. Some of the music I like is in the player below.
~~A good source of information can be found here on Endometriosis. It also includes
a message board where your questions can be posted and answered by a medical expert.
This site is also a good source of other Medical information.~~
~~This is the official site of Jennifer Lewis. She wrote an excellent book about
Endometriosis. It is easy to understand and explains alot about this disease.
She provides many links to other websites dealing with "Endo" and also a message
board where other woman give each other support and talk about their experiences
with this disease.~~
~~I found this site which lists thousands and thousands of names of women around
the world which are suffering from Endometriosis. They have come to this site
to sign there name on the website which resembles a quilt. It includes such
information as to when they were diagnosed, how long they went undiagnosed,
the state and country from which they live. Some contain there personal stories
of dealing with Endo. What they have been thru, and medical treatments they
have tried. If you ever felt alone in dealing with this, you will certainly
not feel alone after you have viewed the "Endo Quilt".~~
~~This sites intention is to offer support for men, worldwide, who must
deal with the "male" side of endometriosis. This is a place to gain or
share information and inspiration from men whose significant others or family
members suffer from this disease and to offer suggestions on coping with the
pain and frustration of not being able to help or to "fix" the problem or to
"make it better". Ideas, poems, thoughts, suggestions, questions, comments,
personal stories, etc... will be accepted here and offered as well.~~
