New Forest Riding - Directions to Applemore

From London-M3
M3 becomes M27 after Eastleigh turn off (which you do NOT take)
M27 straight ahead goes East to Portsmouth (which you do NOT take)
M27 West is the left branch heading for Bournemouth & Southampton west docks. Fork left onto M27west then stay on
M27west do not go off into Southampton or the west docks at all at the next fork.
Stay on M27West until Junction 2 about 6-8 miles
Go left onto A326 heading for Fawley and Beaulieu
Go straight across 5 roundabouts always remaining on A326
As you cross the 5th one, still on A326 and going towards Fawley you will be on a short stretch of rising ground called " Applemore Hill ".
Some people make the mistake of turning left at the 5th roundabout and head off for Hythe and Dibden that would be wrong.
Straight across the 5th roundabout is correct. Now turn first right about 50yards from the roundabout into narrow bumpy lane called Manor Road. There is a horse and rider road traffic sign where you turn off.
The Manor Road road sign is very small!
We are the 5th property along the lane at Dale Farm about 500yards along on the right. A long tarmac drive will bring you down to the stable yard.

Some Additional Notes on Travel

Arrival by Plane:

Visitors from abroad can be collected from Eastleigh Airport which is very close by.
Experienced staff are available to collect unaccompanied minors from any UK airport.

Arrival by Train:

From Waterloo station the inter-city train to Southampton central is 1 hr 10minutes. We are 10minutes by car from Southampton central station.
