Rejection
The King sits in His court
and He looks over the earth with judgement.
His people turn away from Him
and don't want to hear what He says.
So with righteousness He condemns the world.
But His Son stands in the way,
guarding the creation from the wrath of God.
The Son takes the blow
and his hands and feet are scarred.
He is pierced and blood and water flow
from His side.
The sky rains down red drops
and the earth is cleansed from guilt.
The scarred hands of the Son extend
to ofter peace and life.
But the people's hearts are hard,
and they condemn themselves to death.
The King weeps for the wounds
of His Son.
The Son weeps for the people's sin.

To
God
I wonder sometimes
about who i am.
Why am i?
then i know
why i am here.
I am here to shout
the good news about your coming.
I am here to speak of the horrors,
the result of a sinful life,
the horror of hell,
eternal death.
And to tell of the good news.
That you died for us,
So that we
can live in Heaven.
With you.
