October 6th, Yom Kippur
One day after school, Naota is with his brother's (he lives in America) old girlfriend, Mamimi. As they walk along, a young woman on a vespa rides by and hits Naota with a guitar. He becomes unconcious as Mamimi (a little absent minded) takes pictures. Soon after, Naota realizes he has a huge... thing coming out of his head. He bandeges it up and heads home. As he enters his average-income house, he is startled to find the "vespa woman" cooking a meal for his family. She identifies herself as Haruko-San. She applied as housekeeper.

Episode 1- Furi Kuri
Naota (or Takuun), lives a relatively normal 12 year-old life with his father and grandfather in a town called Mabase. An industry called Medical Mechanica was built there for reasons unknown. It is similar to a giant iron.
Things are going smoothly except for this obnoxious bump on Naota's head. As Mamimi and Naota take a walk at night, his bump is triggered by some emotion or feeling and a 6 foot robot comes out of his head along with a giant hand. Takuun, currently unconcious due to the excrutiating pain, is taken possesion by the robot and battles the other. At the end of the brawl, the victor seems to be Naota and the robot--Later named Canti.
