This document has absolutely no legal weight or reality. A letter of resignation I have given this a great deal of thought, and I have come to the conclusion that I must resign from the group which I will refer to as People. (To be defined as all humans who are not currently, myself.) In so doing, I hereby establish the Clan Deizel. I have been granted the title of Poppa Deizel by my son Cormac and I wear it with great pride and humility {though you may have to peer closely to detect the humility. It’s there, trust me.) The reasons for this decision are far too numerous and tedious for me to relate. To put it simply, I feel that your values and objectives and my own no longer coincide. I will not now go into a list of grievances with two exceptions. 1. You hold my son hostage 2. You have (as a group, with some spectacular exceptions) Sympathized with my abuser and assisted her in harming myself, my son, my step son and others. If this had not occurred I would still, very likely, be willing to hang around the fringes of your group. Clan Deizel is not a War-like clan. Punishment and revenge are not my policies. On the other hand, I do not wish to give the impression that I will be trodden on without consequence. I do not have the desire, Time, energy or interest in intentionally causing harm to others, but I will not suffer harassment or abuse. Any who have a grievance against Clan Deizel are instructed to address me openly. This clan currently consists of me, and my son. (In exile) For practical and philosophical reasons, I will obey your laws to the same extent as you all do. (In many cases, to a much greater extent) Also; for practical reasons, we must share currency. These details can be worked out in time. What, you may be asking yourself does Clan Deizel stand for? Primarily, it stands for creativity, exploration and the philosophy that life does not need to be a chore. Responsibility is important, but not as en end in its self. Not, as a flag to be waved, or a cross to be bourn but simply, as part of the deal. Also the idea that hurting others or humiliating them for ones own pleasure is inherently wrong. We are currently accepting applications.
