Went for a 8am lecture this morn... but the module turned out to be too difficult and its not in English... we had thought this module shld taught in English since its course website is in English...sigh.. anyway, more or less confirmed wat modules i am taking liao... taking only 3 modules here (all in norwegian) and if possible, i am doing 2 project modules (EE2001 and EE3001) here so that i dun have to worry about my projects when i return to NUS...
After the lecture end at 10am, i have a 7 hour break before my next tutorial at 5pm.. stupid timetable.. so i went back up to Moholt.. oh yah, bought a comforter for 100NOKs.. quite cheap lar... but not as good as the one i used to have in KR.. but anywae, hopefully it will be good enough to keep me warm when the weather gets colder.. and it rains almost the whole day today and the temperature was abt 12 degrees..
Tutorial lessons here is pretty different from the ones we have in NUS.. dun need to mark attendence one.. not for my electromagnetism tutorial today, the lecturer uploaded a set of questions on the web and we are supposed to complete it and submit it in a week's time.. and the tutorial session is solely for u to ask questions if u encounter any difficulties.. and the tutor will juz sit at his table and wait for u to ask him question.. and when u do, he dun explain it to the class one.. he will come to your table and explain to u.. so basically, if u dun 自 动 一 点 and ask some questions, the tutorial is actually quite 废... and for us, its even more jialat 'cos the tutorial questions is in Norwegian.. sigh...
Met an interesting guy during that tutorial.. his chinese name is 戴 希 程......but he is actually an angmoh from the states!! he is an exchange student from the University of Minnesota... he learnt a bit of chinese b4 and can actually speaks abit of chinese.. quite funny.. cos we started to tok to him in class (he was sitting behind us) 'cos he asked the tutor questions in English.. so we asked him some stuff abt the tutorial in English.. den when we tok among ourselves, he heard us speak some Mandarin.. so he asks us if all Singaporeans knows chinese.. keke... den we found out that he knows abit of Chinese and his Chinese teacher actually gave all her student a Chinese name so that they can use it for Chinese conversation in class... and he got his own surname 戴 'cos he has some relatives who is taiwanese or stayed in Taiwan for quite some time.. tink is his grandaunt or something lar...
