Copenhagen..

4th August 2003 1140pm

            Arrived in Copenhagen this morning.. tink its a smaller city then Stockholm.. fortunately, we were able to find a youth hostel rather easily and its not veri far from the main train station.. juz about 15mins walk.. we will be staying here for 2 nights... but tomorrow we are taking a train to Legoland which is one of the main attractions in Denmark.. it will take us about 6 hours in total , to and from the place.. Lego was my favourite toys when i was young.. but i din even that there is a place called Lego Land at all until a few days ago..

            Frankly, Copenhagen is rather disappointing.. first of all, there arent much things to see.. got some interesting places.. such as the Wax Museum when is sort of a "branch" from Madame Trusses but the wax figures not really veri real oso.. den got this Ridley's (sounds familiar?) "Believe it or not" place oso.. it showcase some of the unusual things found all over the world.. but there is nothing much to see cos the things there are all replicas and rather pathetic exhibitions lor.. all veri fake-ish one..

            Den got this Guinness World of Records Museum which is even worse.. it only have some videos which are more interesting.. other than that, its juz some photos or small exhibits with some descriptions to them.. i tink its would probably be easier to juz go read the Guinness book itself lar..

            oh yah.. i had KFC for dinner.. haha.. was damn happy man... got a two pieces of chicken and a small fries for 25DKK.. not too expensive lar.. still quite affordable.. anywae, dun tink Norway have any KFC lor.. so i probably wun get to eat again within the next 4-5 months.. i oso miss roasted duck rice in Singapore leh.. =(... tink the last time i ate rice was the nite before i left.. went to eat some "zhi-zha" with beys..

            We ended our day at the Tivoli Gardens which is supposed to be a major attraction oso... but its oso quite boliao lar.. its basically a them park with quite a few amusement rides lor... den the design in the park have a Chinese section, Arab section and a European section.. the Chinese one was reali kebei.. they got this  塔 which is really ugly.. even Chinese Garden can  切 it upside down liao.. worse still they have some chinese idioms or poems written on  春 联.. but they hung some of them upside down!?

            Tink this place really quite "sad" lar.. hopefully the Lego Land tomorrow will be good... and it better be cos its so expensive.. entrance fees itself is already 170DKK liao.. thats not even including the transport fees we have to pay to get there lor...
