Hurtigurten

            Me on the Hurtigurten (coastal steamer) now... the ship slipped off Bergen about 2 hours ago.. and we are scheduled to reach Trondheim at 8:00am on Wednesday morning... it has been slightly more than a year since i was out at sea liao.. dunno why oso ... but its like once the steamer left the harbour, i feel quite happy and relaxed.. i feel very much "at home"... funny rite? maybe thisis why i am in the navy... feel a bit of affiliation to water/sea... maybe its b/cos i am a Pieses ... two fishes mah.. =p

            Guess wat? The three of us is staying in the "biggest cabin with the best view of the scenery".. hee... yet i believe we are paying the cheapest fares among all the passengers onboard Kong Harald now... Unbelievable rite?... haha.. i juz took a short video clip of my surroundings now..den maybe u will understand why..

            Looks like a cafeteria rite? .. actuali this is exactly where the 3 of us will be staying for the next 2 nites.. we bought tixs for the voyage from Bergen to Trondheim but we din buy the tixs that come with cabins .. 'cos we pay around S$200 for the voyage alone.. if we want to share a cabin, we will have to pay another S$200+ each.. hehe...and this is juz for a 2day-2nite cruise... and u thought Star Cruise is expensive huh?..hee

            We are allowed to stay in the lounges on the 4th or 7th deck... Right now we are not the 7th deck lounge... den there are shower facilities for us on the 2nd deck... but when we went down juz now to check out the showers, we realised this is only 2 showers cubicles: one for male and one for female.. damn pathetic.. .but anywae, since i tink we are the only ppl onboard without a proper cabin, the showers are pretty much our own lar..

            the Titanic theme kept getting stuck in my head.. quie funny... my other 2 frens couldnt stand the smoke in this lounge so both of them went outside liao.. left me writing this and looking after our luggage... haiii...almost everytime, 我抬起头来.. 随便望一下.. 一定会有一些洋人 giving me the "wats- this-weird-guy-doing-here?" look.. quite amusing... i will juz stare back at them until they look away.. =p

            ..feel abit like Jack in Titanic.. reali feel like a third class passenger... the food onboard is super expensive also... the breakfast buffet tom morning will costs S$25... but its unlikely we will be going for it lar... we have already gone to a supermarket to buy some bread and biscuits to last us until Wednesday morn... damn 可怜leh... i sitting here eating biscuits, drinking tap water.. the angmohs drinking coffer, wine, beer..smoking cigarettes .. kaoz.. wonder where they got their money from ..

            anywae, i oso noticed that 80-90% of the passengers are quite old liao.. those type whose hair all white2 liao and looked like they have alreadi retired.. maybe they are using their pension to pay for this trip lor.. the rates we are paying are actuali student rates lor and its only for the shortest portion of the whole voyage lor.. this voyage, which they claim to be the "greatest voyage in the world", actuali starts in Bergen and ends somewhere in Northern Norway, taking about 13-15 days lor.. really cant imagine how much these ppl are paying for the whole voyage..tink we are the only young ppl onboard lor.. usually backpackers wun pay for this voyage one...too exp liao..

            but then again, the scenery is really quite nice lar.. quite an experience lor.. actually the scenery is the only interesting thing on this cruise lor... since the sun sort of never sets, its like a 24hours scenic tour lor.. but other than that, this cruise is really CMI lor... facilities are really limited... no casinos.. no other entertainment.. only have lounges,bars and restaurants for the caucasions to eat, drink and smoke which i can afford none of these lor.. okay lar..$200 for an experience lor.. dun tink i will ever get another chance to take this voyage again.. if i become super rich and got nothing to else better to do liao when i retires, den i will come again...hee..but unlikely lar..

            dunno wat to write liao.. maybe later will write again lar.. maybe can get to see the "Midnight Sun" later... 1 more hour to midnight.. oh yah, juz rem they have a sauna and gym onboard.. maybe i can check it out tom.. and they also have a library here, which have juz a small cupboard of books... tink my house got a bigger library then here...kaoz...

            Juz took a walk outside on the open deck.. .quite cold outside...veri cloudy today... dun tink got Midnight Sun to see liao...sianz.. listening to my MD juz now... not bad leh.. i enjoy 边听歌,边吹海风.. 只是海丰有一点太冷了...=P

            was listening to "十年" by Eason Chen... suddenly remind me of going to Karaoke with my Engin frens a few days before i left Singapore.. 有一点点感触.. 虽然我现在不很想家.. 可能是现在感觉像是在旅行吧.. 但想了想, 我还得在挪威读一个semester leh..现在离我搭飞机回新加坡的那一天还好远好远喔.. haii..还是不要去想比较好吧..

            wah.. like got a lot to write tonite leh.. right now me at the stern of the ship.. lying comfortably on one of the chairs.. u can see my feets covered under a blanket they provide with the chair.. quite shiok right now... listening to music..吹海风... 看风景... quite a 享受.. maybe 就只差一根烟就perfect liao.. =P
