Bergen..

                                                         Writing this on a piece of paper now.. cos my laptop low on batt liao...left 30% only and my adaptor cant be used here.. damn.. juz used 20% of the battery to transfer all the photos from my camera to the laptop... i have taken abt 270 photos since i left Trondheim..

            I am writing this in the dark too 'cos they off the lights in the dormitory after 11:30pm.. so i am using my handphone backlight as a torchlight now...damn 可怜...            

           

            Here's a picture of the YMCA dormitory we are staying in before they off the lights...

            Anywae, we toured around Bergen today.. Bergen is not exactly veri big lar...so actuali if u skipped all the museums, u probably juz need one day to tour the whole of Bergen.

           

           

           

             The Fish Market is the most interesting place liao.. at least i tink so lar... they have quite  a number of stalls selling souvenirs, flowers, fur, sweaters, and food such as salmon, eel, caviar and even rare stuff like elk and whale meat... me bought a "lunchbox" of seafood for 70kr (S$22)... got smoked salmon, sweet prawns, crabsticks, caviar and salad.. quite nice..

 

           

            The three of us also shared half a kilo of sweet frozen prawns.. the prawns veri special one... got  eggs at its legs one and its veri sweet and tasty.. definitely the best prawns i have ever eaten.. too bad i cant 打包 any back...

 

 

            Took a picture with the boy who sold me the lunchbox =) den we went to the city square to makan.. Oh yah, we managed to "stun" a lot of bread, ham and cheese from the buffet breakfast at YMCA... I actuali took about 10 pieces of bread with chocolate spread, ham and cheese, etc.. =).. its amazing how much bread i eat here in a day.. tink i am tinking around at least 18 pieces of bread each day...

           

 

           

            There were a lot of pigeons and sparrows at the city square and it was quite fun feeding them.. and seeing how all of them flocking to u..  abit scary 'cos we were quite afraid that the birds may shit on us.. keke.. but they din lar.. i was tinking maybe someone may stop us from feeding the birds but no one say anything leh... unlike in Singapore.. haha.. btw, i wonder wats happening back home now.. haven read any newspaper for a week liao.. but i heard from my fren that Singapore and Malaysia are arguing over the water issue until quite jialat.. sigh..

             We went to the Aquarium here in Bergen.. its something like the Underwater World we have in Sentosa but its less modern and spectacular though i tink it have a greater variety of fishes.. They got fishes from all over the world lor.. they have a crocodile from Asia but the one they have is so tiny compared to the ones we can see in the zoo or crocodile park lor.. its only abt 1m long.. tink the ones in Singapore can juz swallow this one in one mouth lor... quite tired liao.. scribbling liao.. hope i can read wat i wrote now when i type this out... they have a tank full of piranhas too.. its quite scary cos all the piranhas are staying still in the water and staring out through the tank and they all looked damn hungry lor... =P
