Backpacking Day 1..

            Me sitting on my bed in the YMCA dormitary in Bergen now.. juz arrived in bergen about an hour ago.. when we came out of the train station, it started to rain lor... damn suay.. lucky we all have rain-proof jackets or umbrella... so it's not that jialat... but still my jeans are still wet and thats the only pair i bought along with me... damn.. hopefully it will dry by tomorrow morning..

            Its has been quite a long and happening 24 hours.. hopefully, i can finished typing before i concuss.. apparently, yesterday there was some festival going on throughout Norway.. there were some celebrations in Trondheim itself... got some performances in the town center where some of the norwegians dressed up in their traditional costumes.. also have some play near the Nidaros Cathedral.. We happened to have some time before we have to board the train to Oslo.. so we dropped by the cathedral to take a look.. The horses the actors rode were damn huge lor.. super scary..

            The train station was located near a river.. sort of reminds me of the Halifax, in Canada which i went 3 years ago... the scenery was reali quite nice.. took some nice photos oso.. the train ride was quite boring .. it was difficult to take any photos of the nice scenery from the train as the train was moving too fast liao... anywae, i also realize something.. 有很多东西是相 机拍不出来的.. 只可以自己亲身去体会的..

            Anywae we arrived in Oslo at around 645am.. as our train to Myrdal is at 1043am, we have a few hours to go explore the town centre of Oslo.. Oslo is the capital of modern Norway.. btw, Trondheim of the capital of ancient Norway.. the streets were very empty since it was so early on a Saturday morning.. most of the shops here open at around 9 to 10am.. so we juz walked around and took some photos of the more interesting buildings such as the Parliament House, King's Residence, Oslo University..etc

            There is a also coastal fortress near the harbour.. tink they should have a proper name for it.. but i dunno wat lar.. =p.. but the view from up at the fortress was quite shiok.. realised Oslo oso nothing much to see leh.. we sort of finished sight-seeing the whole city in juz 2 hours.. keke.. but tink i will go there again during term time lar.. maybe can shop around.. surprising their clothing was selling at rather reasonable prices.. like Levis jeans going for 70-80 bucks...

            We took another 6 hours on the train to get to the Myrdal Station where we are supposed to transfer to another train to go on the Flam Railway.. which is supposedly one of the most famous tourist attraction in Scandinavia.. i say "supposedly" cos i have never hear about it before at all before today.. =P

            We were quite stupid one.. cos the train has already arrived and we rushed to the ticket station to buy tickets.. den Stephen told us to go board the train and "chop" some nice seats while he help us get the tix.. so me and Yimin went on to the train... den the train conductor starts to close all the doors of the train while Stephen was still queueing up.. bobian we had to alight from the train..den someone told us we can juz board the train 1st and buy the ticket from the bus conductor... so we quickly rush to tell Stephen..but it was too late.. the train left liao and we have to wait for more than an hour for the next train...

            Anywae, the Flam Railway is really quite spectacular lar.. i took tons of pictures lor.. in fact i took so that i tink i am quite sick of fjords and waterfalls liao.. and these are the things that Norway are most famous for.. keke.. maybe its time for me to go some other countries liao.. =P .. the Flam train actuali brought us downhill to a small settlement with souvenior shops, banks, post office and restaurants.. got myself 2 shot glasses and a fridge magnet.. i rem got someone ask me to buy fridge magnet for him/her.. but cant rem exactly is who liao.. tink is huizhen..

            Aiyah.. quite tired liao... tink i shld go sleep too.. tom morning muz wake up around 8am to go for their buffet breakfast here.. we tinking of "kop-ing" some food so that we can eat later in the day..heehee.. realised i haven eaten any green vegetables for a week liao.. =(

            Dun really noe whether wat we are doing now is considered backpacking or not leh.. but it is quite fun lar.. this is the 1st time i am staying in a dormitary leh.. quite interesting.. oh yah, juz now, i opened the toilet door and saw an angmoh guy sitting on the toilet bowl.. so paiseh.. apparently their toilet door is spolit and cannot locked one..and the funny thing is that guy actuali apologize to me before i did... keke...
