Jeg heter Gallen

            Just took a bath.. my 1st proper one since I left Singapore.. damn cold lar.. i was shivering like crazy.. tink the weather is turning cold liao.. even now I'm already sleeping with jacket, socks and gloves lor.. dunno how to survive in winter.. anywae i heard my fren it usuali starts to snow here at the end of september.. quite exciting huh? especially since i had neber seen snow in real life b4.. =)

            "Jeg heter Gallen og kommer fra Singapore.."

            This means "i am Gallen, and i come from Singapore". Norwegian (Norsk) is really veri chim leh.. yesterday we learn about pronunciation.. wahlau.. damn jialat.. veri difficult to describe to u but anywae i juz anyhow whack lar.. the writing is slightly better.. but if u ask me to engage in a Norsk conversation den i will die.. veri hard to catch they are saying with their slang and veri hard for me to pronounce  the words clearly and correctly lor.. haii.. tink if all modules i am taking when the semester starts are all in Norsk, then i can go holiday liao... hehe

            I am considering whether i should just withdraw from this language course leh.. cos i feel its a bit waste of time lor.. i could use this time to join another 2 of frens who are not taking the course and going to Oslo and Bergen lor.. Oslo is the capital of Norway and Bergen is the 2nd largest city in Norway. Btw, Trondheim is the 3rd largest.. the language is so difficult to learn and even if i go thru the whole course and pass the exam.. i dun tink i will be able to communicate with the norwegians or anyone in Norsk lor.. and if i cant understand my lecture in english in NUS , i dun tink i can understand the lectures in Norsk here lor.. why dun i juz use this time to tour around instead? tink it will be a better experience for me..somemore i taking the course, go back NUS oso cannot claim back any modular credits lor.. cos i alreadi cleared my cross-faculty modules liao...

            now that i alreadi in the course, Navy is actually paying the fees( about $150) for me lor.. but i still have to fork out another $150 myself for the social programme, they organised throughout the course.. under this social programme, they will bring around Trondheim to see the sights and go camping lor, etc...and i oso have bought the textbook and workbook for around $120 oso lor.. so if i juz withdraw, i will be wasting the money lor.. haii.. den my Norsk teacher oso quite nice to me.. dunno how to tell her if i wanna withdraw lor.. but i really have not much interest in it leh... sigh... but my other navy fren (Kuang Chin) dun wanna withdraw leh.. he say its quite interesting and its a waste of money to withdraw lor...

            haiii.. sianz.. cooking some potatoes to eat for breakfast.. and have to do a my Norsk homework.. have to submit a short essay to the teacher later.. tink i haven reali adjusted to the time difference leh.. slept at 8pm here (0200H) and woked up at 4am (1000H)..still sleeping and waking up in times when i am in Singapore leh...
