Nail Polish Project
Nail Polish smells horrible, but never underestimate
the power of it. I cannot leave anything blank. I have to put a design on it. For
example, my coffee table. I painted it black then painted a design on it with nail
polish then put polyurethane over it. I even mixed glitter in with it. (if you don't
know polyurethane is a clear gloss that protects the paint.) here are some pictures of
my table. All the color (besides the black) is Nail Polish. I had a rather large
collection of nail polish to begin with. But you don't need the expensive stuff to do
this and you would be surprised how far one bottle will go. I suggest Wet n' Wild.
It's cheap and they have lots of colors. I have use nail polish to decorate ALOT of
things in my house. For example, i had some cheap mirrors my dad found at dollar
general. I painted the frames silver and just splashed nail polish over the mirror. it
made a very interesting design. Then i glued butterflies to them.
