There are currently only two musical artists that call Ugly Boy Records their home, and one is defunct. Both albums for sale are on cassette format and are $7 until further notice. For more information about each of these artists/groups check out Andrew's site

E.M. (Euronymous Mastima)

Soothing

This first and last album from the duo of Andrew Long and Ben Stone has a quant blues tinge on many tracks. Done in 1997 on a Yamaha cassette 4-track, this album is an eclectic mix of rock, metal, blues, and...well, weird shit. The albums are currently only available on cassette, hopefully compact disc versions will be coming soon. However, a compact disc would be missing 16 minutes of music since the album goes the full 90 minutes since they were originally intended for cassette format. Andrew and Ben were the main driving force behind the heavy punk band Pusher from 1994-1998. E.M. developed as a slower often acoustic side to Pusher's music. Because E.M. rarely played live, the songs were allowed to take on a more experimental flavor, some spinning out past ten minutes and using tracking effects to enhance the song. This becomes almost creepy on the experimental art-rock track "Chicago."

songs include: Poem by a Girl I Hate, Chicago, Soothing, The Question, Willow, Hellbound Train, and more

Andrew Long

This album has no title. After the dissolution of Pusher Andrew started/joined Bound. During his time in Bound, Andrew began writing many acoustic and indie-guitar-rock songs. Bound was going for more of a metal feel, so Andrew decided to record his own solo album of this new material. Andrew started work in December 1998 and completed most of the tracks at that point. However, Andrew cannot sing, so the vocal tracks were not added in many cases until several months later by friends (Kenny Vigneron, singer for Bound, sang on many tracks). The last of the vocal tracks were laid down on September 17th 1999, the night before Andrew moved to Columbus. This album shows a marked difference from Andrew's earlier work. The sound quality is improved because Andrew replaced his Yamaha cassette 4-track with a MD8 (digital 8-track). The songs are more energetic and less blues influenced. The use of a digital recording system opened up many doors and Andrew discovered many new sounds.

songs include: Primitive, Solo X, To Sleep Today, The Sun, Alive, Fumble, C-rap, Bad Trip, John Evans, Whiskey, Beep, Russell, Amber, New Years Day, Goodbye, Cheese!, Smashing, Spoiled, Track 19, and Tuning
