Here are some of my FZX750 pics. It's a '92 Fazer which I bought second-hand in '95 with only 15.000Km on the clock. It was completely stock (blarrrghhh!) when I got it, but as you can see, nothing remains stock for long in my hands! I began modifying and chopping it, and I simply can't stop. It's addictive. I love Streetfighters and Hotrods. Anything with PURE AGRESSION "written" on it has my approval. Here you'll see the Drag-Fazer in its various forms since I got it.

 

DRAG-FAZER SPECS (in APR 2002)

OWNER: me, since '95

ORIGINAL MAKE AND MODEL: 1992 Yamaha FZX 750 Fazer.

ENGINE: Stock, '87 FZR1000 carbs with dynojet stage 3, Individual K&N filters. 4-1 FZ750 racing headers with Supertrapp tuneable slip-on. (Project for the future is the '88 FZR1000 engine swap or the 911cc conversion).

FRAME: Stock, bar cut-off rear sub-frame.

FRONT END: Stock forks (polished) with WP progressive springs and oil; metal spacers above springs for extra preload; no air pressure on forks. Forks lowered through the yokes. Race Products clip-ons on stock polished yokes. Streetfighter mini fairing. Sigmasport BC1200 digital speedo. Stock brakes and clutch with steel braided lines. Some polished bits. Stock "16 wheel with 120/80 V16 Metzeler ME33 Laser tire.

REAR END: JMC deep braced swingarm, 3inches over with long type slot adjusters. Vmax shocks. ZZR1100 wheel with 180/55 tire. Stock Fazer rear brake.

BODYWORK: No front fender, no many small bits (most of which fill two entire shelves in my garage), modified FZX750 tank cover (home made air ducts and ventilation), cut down seat, cut-off rear section (sub-frame and tailpiece), cateye stoplight. Some hand polished parts.

ELECTRICS: Some rewiring and rerouting by owner. Manual fan switch.

PAINTWORK: Crap black, by owner.
