Now that she's back in the atmosphere
With drops of Jupiter in her hair, hey, hey
She acts like summer and walks like rain
Reminds me that there's time to change, hey, hey
Since the return from her stay on the moon
She listens like spring and she talks like June, hey, hey

Tell me did you sail across the sun
Did you make it to the Milky Way to see the lights all faded
And that heaven is overrated

Tell me, did you fall for a shooting star
One without a permanent scar
And did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there

Now that she's back from that soul vacation
Tracing her way through the constellation, hey, hey
She checks out Mozart while she does tae-bo
Reminds me that there's room to grow, hey, hey

Now that she's back in the atmosphere
I'm afraid that she might think of me as plain ol' Jane
Told a story about a man who is too afraid to fly so he never did land

Tell me did the wind sweep you off your feet
Did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day
And head back to the Milky Way
And tell me, did Venus blow your mind
Was it everything you wanted to find
And did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there

Can you imagine no love, pride, deep-fried chicken
Your best friend always sticking up for you even when I know you're wrong
Can you imagine no first dance, freeze dried romance five-hour phone conversation
The best soy latte that you ever had . . . and me

Tell me did the wind sweep you off your feet
Did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day
And head back toward the Milky Way

Got this in the mail from Stef.

>Once upon a time, a perfect man and a perfect woman met. >After a Perfect courtship, they had a perfect wedding. Their life together >was, of course, perfect. > >One snowy, stormy Christmas Eve, this perfect couple were driving >their perfect car along a winding road, when they noticed someone at >the side of the road in distress. Being the perfect couple, they stopped >to help. There stood Santa Claus with a huge bundle of toys. Not wanting >to disappoint any children on the eve of Christmas, the perfect couple >loaded Santa and his toys into their vehicle. Soon they were driving along >delivering the toys. > >Unfortunately, the driving conditions deteriorated and the perfect >Couple and Santa Claus had an accident. Okay... I finished downloading FrontPage2000 on Kazaa and still.. it's fux0red. I need it 'cause I'm gonna start on my god damn geology assignment. I asked my dad to send me the Microsoft Office 2000 CD here. It's probably gonna take a week. So I might as well just use fucking notepad.

togaku _9/28/2002 01:22:11 PM

I've got a huge headache.

togaku _9/27/2002 11:39:39 AM

togaku _9/26/2002 07:58:16 PM

My last post for the day. I feel like shit. Although... my day was still filled with lots and lots of fun. Sounds corny doesn't it?

I swimmed the whole morning in Red Cliff. It was pretty awesome. The salt water was (kinda) suppose to help get rid of my running nose or fever. Alas, It didn't. Had lunch there. We had our BBQ. It was all right. Not so bad, I guess. Had plenty of chips. That was good. *cough* Shit... I sound like a dog barking.

Then... went to a place in Sandgate. Went fishing for 3 hours. It was a high tide. So it was a good time to go fishing. However, there were alot of jelly fishes around, so I didn't get to catch any. Though.. there was this kid there. Shit man. He caught a fucking baby fish. The force is strong with that boy (wtf?).

Got home.. ate dinner. Had 5 minutes of television... And now I'm here.. about to go to bed cause I feel like horse shit.

Fuck eh... this nose is getting annoying.

togaku _9/26/2002 08:33:17 AM

It's gonna be hard to get well. I don't get anytime to rest. Yesterday I went to Gold Coast. And today, well... I'm going to Red Cliff. To swim. Maybe that will help me get better. As far as I know, I have done absolutely everything I know to get better. Anyone got any suggestions? I need to get better so I can do my fucking assignments. I don't want to leave it in the last minute. Like I did a coupla times back inJIS. Though, I still did get very high marks. Weird. But I don't want to stress myself.

I'm gonna stop modding GTA3 and stop playing the game. I seriously need a rest now. I haven't tried sleeping the whole day yet. Maybe that can cure me. Argh. I still need to clean my room. It's not that messy compared to my room back in Brunei. But... It needs cleaning.

And also, I think I know why I'm not getting better. My room. Yes. My room is fucking hot during the afternoon. 'Cause when the sun sets, it glares right for my room. And I can't do anything about it. It's nature.

togaku _9/25/2002 08:30:46 AM

Fak. Now I think I have a fever. Fak. My running nose getting worst. Fak. What a holiday. Fak.

togaku _9/23/2002 11:26:59 PM

Just watched part of the emmys. Band of Brothers was on nine during the emmys (in seven). So I switched through channels during commercials.

Did nothing much today. Mostly went out to chermside, carseldine, everywhere on the way to the city. Does that make sense? Fak it.

It's a good thing it rained this afternoon. If not, the state would most probably suffer further bush fires. Damn the drought. It's evil. Due to the rain and sudden change of temperature. I've got a fucking running nose. Fak.

I don't know what I'll be doing for the rest of my term break. I need to fucking start my assignment. My first assignment I want to get finished, Fucking website presentation for geology. Second assignment, English short story. 600-1500 words. Third assignment, Graphics and my last assignment IDT.

All due in the next 2-3 weeks.

There goes my time practicing for my basketball matches. And there goes modding gta3.

Ah.. I need sleep and rest. Damn nose getting annoying! It's fucking dripping for crying out loud...

togaku _9/23/2002 04:21:50 PM

I'll be moving soon. Maybe a week or so? Alex (you n00b) finally gave me some free webspace in his dir. Argh.. What bad timing man. Just a few days ago, Syaz offered me a 'small' place in her site. Anyway...

I haven't started on any of my holiday assignments. I better start on it asap. I wanna mod my gta3. I'm getting sick of the same old cars and shit. If you know what I mean.

togaku _9/21/2002 09:44:40 PM

I got hosted! Moving soon. Come back in a few days... :)

togaku _9/20/2002 06:07:42 PM

togaku _9/18/2002 05:33:28 PM

Last period of school yesterday, I had IPT. We're programming some stuff on Delphi. I can't understand a single thing. The teacher doesn't teach us. He just let's us open the program and copy up the code's from acrobat. Yet, amazingly... I still pass my tests. Haha. Weird shit. Seriously, I don't understand. Not that I care anyway.

Anyway.. during that period. Somewhere in school, a coupla guys trespassed to the school compound. And at first I think the caretaker tried to take care of the situation. Unfortunately, he got pinned down. A coupla seniors helped him out. And these weren't your regular senior, they were rugby players. You can imagine them winning, right?Wrong. Mr Wong (my ITD teacher) ran and pinned one of 'em and Mr du Preez came to give a helping hand. One of the guys picked up a steel bar from the construction area (there's new buildings being built) and he threaten Mr du Preez. Mr du Preez, my English teacher talked him out of it, and they ran. Can you believe that? Sometime after that, the guys came back, this time with a knife. You can imagine how desperate they were. What I don't understand is. What the fuck were they doing in the school grounds? What could they possibly be looking for in a school? Well.. the fact that they were most probably jobless and maybe they wanted to go back to school. Or maybe they're just fucking mental. Anyway... the cops came, two of 'em ran, Mr Wong pinned one down. Pretty unusual huh.

Now the school hired security guards to patrol the school grounds. They get paid AUS$200 per hour. I didn't get to see this happen though. I just heard the police sirens from class. I wonder if the other two guys are gonna try again tomorrow.

I finished reading Fahrenheit 451, finished it about a few weeks ago. Pretty good. Some people didn't understand the story though. Some people are just stupid.

togaku _9/14/2002 11:08:01 PM

Had a very tiring day today. Went for the game this morning, and we lost, just what I expected. Though, the team did play pretty good. Some are still slacking on the defence though. But overall, good. After the game, I walked about 3-5 kilometers to the train station. And that was about 11ish. And boy was it hot. Even if I were in a small shade, I could still feel the intense heat from the sun. Took the train to the city and had chinese food.

Ahh..too tired to finish this log. Who gives a shit anyways.

togaku _9/14/2002 12:13:10 AM

They never give up do they - Story. Hopefully, that 9/13 thing ain't true. If you don't know what I'm talking about. Read the article.

I've got a home game to attend tomorrow. I wanted to sit-out. But from the looks of it, I'm gonna have to go. 'cause they don't think alot of the players are gonna show up and they need someone to blame, that is if we lose. This season's been really shit for us. We need a fresh start. We need to start from the basics. Old school style.

Tired now. Sleep time.

Movies I'm looking forward to this spring/summer:

September 20
- Apollo 13 (IMAX)
> Starring Tom Hanks, Bill Paxton, Kevin Bacon, Gary Sinise, Ed Harris, Kathleen Quinlan.
> Overview The 1995 Ron Howard-Tom Hanks drama re-created the dramatic rescue of three astronauts stranded on board the Apollo 13 module, 205,000 miles above the Earth, in April 1970. When an oxygen tank on the craft exploded, the planned trip to the moon turned into a nightmare, as Jim Lovell, Jack Swigert, and Fred Haise faced the prospect of suffocating in space. This IMAX version of the film has been re-edited for the giant screen and blown up into 70 mm format using a new technology.

September 27
- The Tuxedo
> Starring Jackie Chan, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jason Isaacs, Debi Mazar, Peter Stormare, Mia Cottet.
> Overview Think Inspector Gadget, the early years. In order to save a kidnapped secret agent, the agent's clueless assistant must use an experimental new tuxedo loaded with hi-tech gadgets.

October 4
- Red Dragon
> Starring Anthony Hopkins, Ed Norton, Emily Watson, Harvey Keitel, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Ralph Fiennes, Mary-Louise Parker, Anthony Heald, Tyler Patrick-Jones.
> Overview Thomas Harris' 1981 novel that first introduced readers to Hannibal Lecter, Red Dragon, starts with Lecter being arrested for the first time by ex-FBI agent Will Graham (Edward Norton), a top investigator who quit the bureau after nearly becoming one of Lecter's victims. The story centers on Agent Graham, who is determined to track down Francis Dolarhyde (Ralph Fiennes), a missing serial killer. The only one who can lead Graham to him is Lecter. In 1986, Michael Mann directed a version of Red Dragon called Manhunter, based on his own adaptation.

November 22
- Die Another Day
> Starring Pierce Brosnan, Halle Berry, Rick Yune, John Cleese, Michael Madsen, Dame Judi Dench, Madonna.
> Overview James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) is never one to disappoint fans of explosive yet practical gadgets and alluring women with exotic accents. Plot details for this one are almost non-existent, but rumors have included plot points centered in the DMZ between North and South Korea, as well as Hong Kong, Cuba, and, of course, London.

- Friday After Next
> Starring Ice Cube, K.D. Aubert, Mike Epps, Don "D.C." Curry, John Witherspoon.
> Overview It's the last day of the work week, meaning something bad's about to happen to Craig (Ice Cube) again.

November 27
- Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights
> Starring Voices of: Adam Sandler, Tyra Banks, Jon Lovitz, Kevin Nealon, Rob Schneider, James Barbour.
> Overview Davey Stone, a 33-year-old party animal, finds himself in trouble with the law after his wild ways go too far. In keeping with the holiday spirit, the judge gives Davey one last chance at redemption he has to spend the holiday performing community service as the assistant referee for the youth basketball league or go to jail. Davey thinks he's gotten off easy until he meets Whitey Duvall, the eccentric, elf-like head referee. Adam Sandler voices the three lead characters of Whitey, Davey, and Whitey's fraternal twin sister, Eleanore.

December 18
- Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers
> Starring Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Ian McKellen, Viggo Mortensen, Liv Tyler, Cate Blanchett.
> Overview The Dark Lord Sauron seeks to enslave the free peoples of the mythical realm of Middle-earth by recovering a mighty ring of power he forged in the fires beneath Mount Doom. After many generations, the ruling ring, cut from Sauron's hand by the human hero Isildur, has fallen by chance into the keeping of the hobbit Bilbo Baggins (Ian Holm). Guided by the wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and assisted by companions representing the free races of elves, dwarves, men, and hobbits, Bilbo's heir, Frodo (Elijah Wood), embarks on a perilous quest to destroy the Ring before Sauron's minions can recapture it. The film is based on J.R.R. Tolkien's fantasy classic The Lord of the Rings, composed by Tolkien as a single volume but divided (against the author's wishes) by his British and American publishers into three volumes: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King.

And more... this september that most of you may already seen or know about. You may already know about some of the movies above. But oh well.

togaku _9/12/2002 07:08:47 PM

For those people who are keen on (awesome) sci-fi movies like Matrix Reloaded & Revolutions. Here's some spoilers for you.

> Filmmakers built a one-and-a-half-mile stretch of freeway on an abandoned naval base in Alameda, Calif., for one massive stunt chase involving hundreds of vehicles, car-to-car foot pursuits, automatic weapons and Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) on a motorcycle.

> Where the first movie had one principal nemesis -- Agent Smith (Hugo Weaving) -- Matrix Reloaded will have three: a resurrected Smith and a duo of assassins known simply as "The Twins." Dressed in matching white frock coats and blond dreadlocks, the pair will have the ability to pass through walls.

> The second movie will offer the first-ever glimpse of the human city of Zion. The underground habitation will feature cliffside dellings stacked one atop another, like cells in a giant hive, with industrial fittings, red doors and tiny mushroom gardens out front. Viewers will also visit the massive city of the machines, about which no one is talking. By the third film, much of the action will occur not in the computer-generated 21st-century city that is The Matrix, but also in the so-called Real World, 800 years from now.

> In the Real World, the audience will reboard the Nebuchadnezzar, the hover craft skippered by Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne). But they will also board at least four other ships, including the Mjolnir, named after the Norse god Thor's hammer.

Not enough? Click here.

Graphics and Maths wasn't so bad. The maths were quite a shock actually. I was so worried that I'd flunk it cause I didn't study a bit for it. So..the paper wasn't so hard. It was okay. I anwsered most of the questions. I'm worried about my Graphics though, I wasn't sure if the perspective drawing of the object I was doing, was correct. Some of you may think, "Ha! Drawing drawing things only. Peanut lah". And I'd say, "FUCK OFF." Just kidding. What I would really say to you is... "Think before you speak." I've had that saying stuck in my head for some time now, 'cause you never know what comes out of your mouth (that is if you're not thinking), you never know it might offend the person you're talking to. Some people are just too sensitive.

Anyway.. that's beside the point. My point is, my end of term tests are over. Yay?

Mmm...

I just got back from Bracken Ridge park. Shit... that park is so far from the house. Freaking 4-6 kilometers. It might be even further than that, but I don't know. I don't have a freaking speedometer on my bike. I'd like to have one though, just kidding. Who in the world would wanna know how far you've gone on your bicycle. Jesus christ.

Played 3 on 3 half court basketball at the park. You wouldn't believe how noisy we were. Almost all of the people passing by were looking at us. I think the dude at the gas station heard us. God, I'm so tired. Of shouting. And of course, playing. I had to travel another 4-6 km back home. I almost wanted to crawl back in. But, I didn't.

Since block testing's over. Here comes the ass's. Hehe, that's assignments. Ass for short. Oh.. the horror.

Gotta go. Dinner time. Food... Mmm..

togaku _9/11/2002 04:56:16 PM

Earth science/geology test was a drag. Ah... the horror. I didn't get to finish the whole paper, we only had an hour to complete the bloody thing. Shit! I think everyone, said it was hard. Damn...

I've got two papers tomorrow. Oh jolly good.

Nothing much happened today. 9/11/02. People in surfers paradise made a men made American Flag, it was a clear view from above. Pretty neat. On Seven, they're going to have this memorial thing and some other stuff relating 9.11 from 06:00PM to 10:30PM. There goes the daily programs for the night.

togaku _9/11/2002 04:41:26 PM

"It's amazing how small the world can be."

togaku _9/10/2002 09:06:56 PM

Just finished watching a memorial documentary on Nine. Good lord. This just brings me back, when I was on my computer surfing this site, and its recent post was a picture of a plane headed towards the tower (if i remember perfectly), at first I thought, this must be some new movie. Then as I switched through the mIRC channels I was on, and this one line caught my eye, "WATCH CNN!! WATCH CNN!" (or something similar to that), followed by a girlsquit message, "HAHAAH, WATCH CNN, TWIN TOWERS DOWN! THIS CUD START WORLD WAR 3!".

I changed the channel and there it was. The real thing. Then I said to myself, "The fuck, that stupid bitch thought it was funny. Fucking bitch".

Man.. whoever said that. Fuck you.

This is sad indeed.

Anyway, on to the happy side of this post. A dozen or more movies are being released this September (most of the movies that I didn't get to watch in Brunei when they had the bootleg copies). I'm gonna have a movie mania! Might ask Jenny to go with me, if she wants to, she always stuck in the hostel. Poor her. Me, being the good friend, taking her out of there. Heh. Don't really like going to the movie's alone. If she can't go. Might ask my school buddies.

Shit, this post sucks. But... what the hell. It's just pure ramblings. (The crap?)

togaku _9/10/2002 06:38:45 PM

If I remember perfectly, I haven't officially closed the site yet. So that means, I'll still be posting here once in a while. Like now. It's kinda rare to see me posting nowadays, due to the fact that I've slacked off the internet (blogging to be exact). I haven't been in school since Thursday last week and I'm going back tomorrow. A long weekend indeed. I haven't done any serious revision lately, just made a coupla notes yesterday and that was it.

I've been to several car auctions around Brisbane lately, I'm looking for a car, for myself. If you don't already know, I'll be getting my learners license this November. So... it's all good, I guess. I have my eye on the new Nissan Patrol. I just love 4x4's. It's great to own a 4x4 if you're here. A lot of places to go. I'm planning to explore Australia next year after Year 12 with some of my mates in Melbourne. By the time I finish YR12, I'll have my "P" license, and maybe even have my open/international license. So it'll be good to own a 4x4. And if I were to buy a 4x4 in an auction, I won't have to worry about getting it scratched when I drive it in the great Australian outback.

Ahh.. that's enough dreaming for one day. Heh.

I've got earth science/geology test tomorrow morning. Hope it'll go all right. It's really confusing, especially when you just started learning that subject. But, I must say, it is quite interesting (to me that is) - to learn a great dreal about the history of the earth, the different issues paleontologists have on how 'life' started on earth - some say a meteor had something to do with it.

Another interesting subject I'm doing at the moment is Graphics, I've done this subject before in my previous school in Brunei when I was in YR9. I didn't take it in YR10 'cause I choose to do DT:Resistent Materials instead. And in YR11, I continued doing RM, and I kinda wanted to do Graphics instead but I when I saw the work they were doing, it was crap. Well... boring. Well.. let's just say their work wasn't up to our standards in RM. Hehe. And now, I'm taking both Industrial Design Technology (similar to RM) and Graphics. And the work I'm doing in Graphics, is way better than the work my friend used to do in our old school. We're doing all kinds of stuff on AutoCAD. So.. that's good as well.

I've been slacking off in basketball training as well. We've already lost a game, the team's lacking team work. And the team's pretty much slacking off as well. I think the coach's getting slack as well - training's been cancelled this week. Ah.. well. I think it's because of the tests. But then, I'd still go, even though I had tests. That's how much I love the game. Haha. (The fuck?).

Damn. The smell of my uncle's cooking is in my room. And damn it smells good. My mouth's getting watery. Food. The things that make you go Mmmmm...

Uhm... in my previous posts, I think I mentioned about reading one of Tom Clancy's books. Now I'm reading a classic, Fahrenheit 451. Good book. It's old, but good.

togaku _9/8/2002 04:09:33 PM

My results for IGCSEs : what a shocker.
