Remote Favorites

Introduction

First of all, i'd like to thank you for taking the time to visit my site. This is where you will find the program that i've created, with the help and ideas from friends. This program will allow a user to access their internet favorites from any PC. Another feature is the remote notepad, which is a simple text pad that will allow a user to write and store any notes of their choice and be able to access it from any PC. To be able to access your remote favorites and notepad from any PC, you have to download this program and log into your account, and from there, access internet address/notes remotely. I'd appreciate any feedbacks, whether good or bad, any feedbacks are welcomed.

Installation

First, download the zip file from the link below or from here http://rfavorites.go.dyndns.org/rfavorites.zip. Unzip it into a folder of your choice and run the program. For first time users, type in a username and password and click "New Account" . Once your account is created, you will be logged into the server. Typically, a user would run this program at home and access their favorites remotely, either from work or anywhere else. Click on "Options", and click on "Import IE" . This will import your current favorites. NOTE : NETSCAPE IS NOT SUPPORTED. If there is enough request, I will include Netscape support in future versions. Everything else is pretty simple, ideally, once you import your favorites, you would minimize it and forget about it. You would add more favorites into IE normally and the program will sync with IE and add to it's list. To access the notepad, click File and select "Notepad" . Type in whatever you want, and click "Update" to update to the server.
