HIGHLANDS SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

September 7, 1969 to June 10, 1970

Highlands Senior High School is the result of the merger between Har-Brack High School and Tarentum High School. Highlands was established in 1968 with their 1st class graduating from the old Har-Brack School building. The 2nd class, being the Class of 1970, which was made up of 565 pupils, graduated from the newly constructed school building located on Pacific Avenue in Natrona Heights, PA 15065.

The school's colors are Brown, Gold and White. The school's mascot is the Ram.

The first several years Highlands Senior High School housed the Senior and Junior classes. Later, the school district realigned the buildings due to the decrease in student population. Now the school houses the ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelvth grades.

Highlands School District consists of the following municipalities of Brackenridge, Fawn Township, Harrison Township and Tarentum.
