The purpose of Phi Chi Theta is to promote the cause of higher business education and training for all individuals; to foster high ideals for everyone pursuing a career in business; to encourage fraternity and cooperation among people preparing for such careers; and to stimulate the spirit of sacrifice and unselfish devotion to the attainment of such ends.

What is Phi Chi Theta?

Phi Chi Theta is a national business and economic fraternity for men and women. Established in 1924, Phi Chi Theta strives to "promote the cause of higher education for men and women in business careers, to encourage fraternity and cooperation, and to stimulate the spirit of sacrifice and unselfish devotion to the attainment of such ends. Phi Chi Theta promotes both professional and social activities. Phi Chi Theta emphasises a balance between the two activities, especially as more and more recruiters are looking for well-rounded individuals.

Unlike most organizations the fraternal atmospheres useful for making many lifetime friendships within the fraternity as well as professional contacts in the "real world". These close personal relationships are rarely found in most organizations.
