Introduction to engineering
1. A Civil Engineer is an engineer who is involved with the design and construction of public works. These works include bridges, dams, and other buildings.
2. An Electrical Engineer is an engineer who is involed with electronic designs. They deal with the design and applications of power generation, distribution, circuitry and the electric aspec of a design.
3. A Mechanical Engineer deals with the application and power of a design. They also deal with the applicable uses of a machin and tools.
4. An Industrial Engineer deals with production of industrial goods. They deal with the efficiency of a plant and the materials and energy needed in a specific industry.
5. A Chemical Engineer deal with the technology of chemical production. They also deal with the designs that can create specific chemicals.
6. A Computer Engineer deals with software and hardware designs of a computer system. The Computer Engineer also deals with the design, construction, and the operation of computers.
7. Aerospace Engineers deal with a design in flight. Areas of study include design, propulsion, aerodynamics, testing, and orbital mechanics.
8. An Environmental Engineer deals with the use of natural reasources and environmental protection. They deal with how a design will effect the environment.
