@ Mile 11 St. Thomas Sub

This site is dedicated to rail fanning Canadian Pacific’s St. Thomas subdivision. The line runs from Woodstock to St. Thomas (Mile 0 to Mile 33.6). The line before it became CP was part of the Credit Valley Railway in the late 1800’s. When the Credit Valley Railway had some financial problems the line was sold to the Ontario and Quebec Railway, a then spin off company of the CPR, to finally become part of the CPR as the St. Thomas sub. I have noticed the schedule varies greatly but it is kinda predictable. The Frame Train, trains #141 & 142 run Monday through Saturday. It departs St. Thomas at 5am for Oshawa. When it returns it varies, I have seen it at 4pm, and even 7:30pm. There is always the train that switches Cami, I have seen these throughout the day and mostly CN, but CP does too. I have even seen them at 2:30am with a long string of autoracks that they pull up to almost mile 12 before they back into Cami. There is also the locals that go switch Putnam and St. Thomas. Those are pretty much as needed I think, but are common enough. Runs to St. Thomas that are not the frame train seem to be on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. I am not too sure how much is interchanged at the Carew diamond in Woodstock. The pics on this site have been taken by both me, Cam Leonard, and my good friend Brad Wilson. I grew up along this line, @ Mile 11. I am back home in Ingersoll atleast once a year to visit family, that is when I get my major updates.
