Sonic and his friends blast back onto the Saturn in an all-new racing game!  One day Tails spots a sign for a race called the Mobius Grand Prix.  Sonic becomes quite excited, knowing that this was a chance for him to show off his infamous speed!  But what's really interesting is that Robotnik is racing as well; and where there's Robotnik, there's trouble!   He has laid traps in the race so he could get his hands on the Chaos Emeralds, and he knows where all of them are.

But Sonic won't be the only one racing against blubber-butt.  Knuckles has learned of the race as well, and that Sonic is participating.  And he can't turn down a chance to get some action with Sonic!  Also, Amy Rose will be racing too.  After overhearing Robotnik's plans, she's decided to go after the Emeralds as well.

So it's now an all-out race to the finish for the Emeralds!  Who will be victorious?  Only you can decide!

There are four race tracks and a hidden track.  You can choose from Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, or Robotnik.  There are also some hidden characters, which I'll reveal how to access soon.

MSM's Review

Well, the one game I wanted most for the Saturn didn't shape up to what I thought it would be.  The number one problem in this game is the control: it SUCKS.  While racing, your character practically slides all over the track, and when you stop, it takes him/her a couple seconds more to stop.  That can be pretty bad when you're trying to get a Chaos Emerald and you slide off somewhere and miss it completely, and when you need to turn around and get it, you have you press the L or R buttons to turn, which is REALLY slow, BTW.  And by the time you're done turning, another character has gotten the Emerald.

Another thing to note is the graphics.  They look fine for a Saturn game, but the characters are extremely blocky, like they were souped up and not edited at all to look better.  The only good things about the game is the tracks, as well as the music.  A lot of people seem to hate it, but I like it myself.

Maybe a Dreamcast version would be better...
