![]() The Winter Dance Party Tour, January 23-February 15, 1959 This concert tour was scheduled to send Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper to 24 cities in three weeks. Tragedy struck just ten days into the tour, when a plane crash claimed the lives of all three headliners.
